He is survived by: his children, Joseph Malaspina (Marjorie) of Middlebury, CT and Susan Royle (Robert) of Prospect, CT; his brother Dominic Malaspina of Waterbury, CT; and his grandchildren, Alexandra Malaspina of Glastonbury, CT, Sydney Malaspina of Boston, MA, Erica Royle of Stratford, CT and Dylan Royle of Prospect, CT..
