He is survived by: his wife Elaine Derwin (Newell); his daughters, Dawn Porter (Craig) of Goshen, Melva Nevers (Ron) of Waterbury and Jacqueline Streich (Jay) of Waterbury; his grandchildren, Nick Nevers (Erica), Ryan Nevers (Amanda), Jay Orsini (Angel) and Chris Orsini; his great grandchildren, Jackson Nevers, Jayce Orsini and Bennett Nevers; his pets, Sugar and Boots; and his siblings, William Derwin of Prospect and Mary Dowling of West Suffield.
