It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Meehan of Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Meehan and Margaret Meehan (Goggins); and his brother Brendan Meehan of Ireland. He is survived by: his children, John Meehan (Tiffanie) of Colebrook, Timothy Meehan (Lynne) of Torrance, CA, Kevin Meehan (Angela) of Cumming, GA and Kerry Meehan Doty (Isaac) of Southington; his siblings, Michael Meehan (Liz) of Ireland, Jeremiah Meehan (Cora) of Ireland and Hannah Coffey of Waterbury; his former wife Cheryle Meehan (Beck) of Waterbury; his grandchildren, Katie Meehan, Allie Meehan, Tommy Meehan, Ryan Meehan, Riley Doty, Owen Doty, Evan Doty, Liam Meehan and Sean Meehan; and his niece Siobhan Coffey of Middletown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
