She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Maria (Rinaldi) and Giuseppe "Joseph" Falcone Rinaldi; her sons, John P. Gelada Jr. and Joseph A. Gelada; her brother Angelo "Sonny"; and her sister-in-law Linda Rinaldi (Trepanier).
She is survived by: her husband John P. Gelada Sr.; her daughters-in-law, Victoria Gelada and Sandi Gelada; her daughter Samantha of Waterbury; her niece Donna Ascenza (David) of Wolcott; her sisters-in-law, Josephine Rinaldi, Madeline "Pinky" Gelada of East Berlin and Shirley Gelada of Cheshire; her granddaughters, Nina-Marie Thibault (Brandon) of Asheboro, NC, Kimberly A. Paradis (Joel) of Torrington and Mariann C. Mendez (Jose "Eryc") of Waterbury; her stepgrandson Daniel Mancini (Yliana) of Waterbury; and her great grandchildren, Skyy, Jay, Tenshi, Jose Jr., John III, Gianna, Scarlett and Benjamin.
