He was predeceased by: his father George Smith; and his brother Gerald. He is survived by: his wife Yai Dibba; his mother Dorothy Smith (Gluse) of Naugatuck; and his brothers, Robert Smith (June) of Union City, David Smith, Paul Smith of Waterbury, Richard Smith (Theresa) of Oxford and Steven Smith of Naugatuck. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial (240 N Main St, Naugatuck, CT 06770). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home (240 N Main St, Naugatuck, CT 06770).
