He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregory Melendez and Olga Lee Melendez (Loopez). He is survived by: his children, Johnathan Melendez, James Melendez Jr. and Olga Melendez; and his siblings, Steven Melendez and Adrienne Lopez. He is also survived by his three grandchildren.
