She was predeceased by: her husband Louis J. Fornito; her parents, Salvatore Ross-Cugusi and Mary Ann Ross-Cugusi (Colosimo); her daughter Ann Marie Duefrene; her son-in-law Paul Duefrene; and her siblings, Domenick, Carmen, John, Louis Cugusi, Carmella Cugusi, Angeline Tite, Mary Hogan, Jean Benashunas and Antoinette Opella.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Fornito (Peter Loschiavo) of Waterbury, Joseph A. Fornito (Victoria) of The Villages, FL, John S. Fornito of Waterbury and James L. Fornito (Laura) of Waterbury; and her siblings, Joseph Cugusi of Frackville, PA and Anna Gottstine of Shenandoah, PA. She is also survived by great-great nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (785 Highland Ave, Waterbury, CT 06708). A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (699 Platt Rd, Watertown, CT 06795).
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made in Isabel's name to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place.
