She was predeceased by: her husband Charles E. Swain-Mays; her parents, Willie C. Cunningham and Ruby Sledge-Cunningham; and her brother Clarence Melvin Sledge. She is survived by: her daughter Debra Hayes (George) of Waterbury, CT; her grandchildren, Shayla Duckett-Roberts and Shawn Dansby; and her great grandchildren, Kyra Dunbar-Kemp, Kyron Dunbar and Olivia Roberts. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.
