He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcolino Sanchez and Encarnacion Medina; his wife Juana Sanchez; and his siblings, Fano Sanchez, Andres Sanchez, Ramon Sanchez and Ines Sanchez.
He is survived by: his children, William Sanchez, Kevin Hartman of Waterbury, Emma LaMonica of Waterbury and Minerva Trusty (Oliver "Tony" Trusty) of North Carolina; his siblings, Oscar Sanchez of Connecticut, Betty Colon (Angel) of New Jersey and Daisy Giraldo (Arturo) of Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Minerva Ancrum (Brian Ancrum), Joseph LaMonica Jr. (Yung LaMonica), Tasha Lomax and Juanita Cheng; his great grandchildren, TJ, Jonathan, Emmalie, Jayden, Noah and Kellan; his great great grandchildren, Jayce and Cameron; and also, Pepi, Otis, Cooper and Guillermo. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
