In loving memory of George W. Goodwin Jr. in Waterbury, Connecticut, who departed this world on January 31, 2025 at the age of 80. George leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Goodwin and Grace Goodwin (Galvin); and his brother Douglas (Marita). He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Goodwin (Emr); his brothers, Jeffrey (Jane), Mark (Marcy) and Rory (Judy); and his stepchildren, Thomas O'Hara (Morena), Kimberly Nardone (David), Kelley Odorisio (James) and Heather Rose (Matt). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
