She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Angelo Melendez Sr.; her parents, Isidoro Casillis and Fermina Casillis (Torres); and her brother Isidoro (Cholo). She is survived by: her children, Michael, JD, Wesley, Teddy and Ronald; her grandchildren, Christian, Jadiel, Niko, Natalia and Bella; and her siblings, Sara, Blanca, Nestaly, Bobby, Efrain and Tony. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Waterbury (1987 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705). A prayer was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Care (1987 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705).
