He was predeceased by: his brothers, Joseph C. Leo and James V. Leo III. He is survived by: his children, David M. Leo Jr., Amanda R. Leo, Cadie E. Welchans, Cameron T. Leo Vargas and Madeline O. Leo; and his siblings, Vincent E. Leo and Donna M. Leo.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

“I’m so sorry for your loss I didn’t know until my daughter from Virginia called me and said dad isn’t that your friend David Leo he passed away in January and the funeral was February 1 I miss it I’m still in shock Dave and I worked together at Anchor Fasterners in Waterbury we were very great friends we used hang out a lot we road motorcycles together he used to attend my shows in town he was good friends with my wife Leslie Reignier Dave is a great friend very sad may you rest in peace brothe.”
