She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Humphrey; her parents, Herbert Gregory and Ella Mae Bogues (James-Gregory); her grandmother Ruth Pruden; her great grandchild Layla Gregory; and her siblings, Wendy Bogues and Milton.
She is survived by: her stepfather Alexander Bogues; her daughters, Debra Humphrey Reid of Dover, Del, Princess D. Gregory and Kelley S. Gregory (Tracey L. Humphrey); her grandchildren, Jihran Nealy (Shirley), Mark Gregory (Evelyn), Whitney Reid, Christopher Reid and Princess Gregory (Cessa); her great grandchildren, Nazir Nealy, Markayla Gregory, Jayden Nealy, Mila Gregory, Riley Lassiter, Isaiah Gregory and Rylo Lassiter; and her siblings, Mark Bogues of Waterbury and Ruth Gregory Moore (Nook) of Greensville, NC. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive AME Zion Church (86 Pearl St, Waterbury, CT 06704).
