She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose C. Magalhaes and Ester Ribeiro Magalhaes; her daughter Fatima Sousa; her brothers, Manuel, Antonio and Jose Magalhaes; and her brother-in-law Robert Filippone.
She is survived by: her spouse Delfim Sousa of Mary's Hospital; her sons, Val Sousa (Zoe) of Yorktown, NY, Jose Sousa (Regina) of Prospect, CT, Dino Sousa (Mary-Beth) of Southington, CT and Antonio Sousa of Waterbury; her grandchildren, David Sousa (Dawn) of Buffalo, NY, Marisa Sousa of Terryville, CT, Jordan Sousa (Autumn) of Philadelphia, PA, Alexia Parekh (Sagar) of Wallingford, CT, Kyle Perez, Dax Sousa (Taylor Bomely) of Wethersfield, CT, Savannah Sellick (DJ), Hannah and Trevor Sousa of Southington; her siblings, Arminda Oliveira of Waterbury, Joaquim Magalhaes (Maria) of Naugatuck, Adelino Magalhaes (Judith), Maria Filippone of Naugatuck and Americo Magalhaes of Waterbury; and her sisters-in-law, Rosa Magalhaes of Waterbury and Fernanda Magalhaes of Waterbury. She is also survived by her 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
