She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Tansley; her parents, Leonardo Mecca and Gertrude Mecca (Stolfi); her daughter-in-law Maureen Tansley; and her siblings, Catherine Santoro and Domenic Mecca.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas, Robert (Diane), Stephen Sr. (Arline) and Peter (Susie); her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Stephen Jr., Brooke, Erin, Matthew, Scott and Maura; and her caregivers, Patty Ferriaolo and Cindy Jones. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and several cherished nieces and nephews.
