He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ruzzo and Catherine Ruzzo; his sisters, Paula (Bob Henne) and Roberta (Doug McGill); and his daughter-in-law Patty Ruzzo.
He is survived by: his children, John (Brenda Doucette) of Rocky Hill, Rick (Linda) of Old Saybrook, Terry (Kathy), Bob (Sharon) of Higganum and Laurie Whelan (Tom) of Meriden; and his daughter-in-law Wendy Ruzzo of Wethersfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
