Richard G. Dutton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2025, at the age of 96, Richard G. Dutton of Washington, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Dutton and Mary Dutton (Dillon); his brothers, John Dutton (Jack) and William; and his former wife Peggy Dutton (Loos).
He is survived by: his sons, David P. Dutton (Sonia) of Cherry Valley, NY and Philip M. Dutton (Ann); and his granddaughter Juliette of Washington, CT.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help (34 Green Hill Rd, Washington, CT 06793). The military honors was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (34 Green Hill Rd, Washington, CT 06793).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to RVNA and Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish.
