He was predeceased by: his wife Constance Mitchell (Heina); and his parents, James Mitchell and Marie Mitchell (McCaffrey). He is survived by: his children, James (Maureen) of Wyckoff, NJ, Terence (Sherry) of Oldsmar, FL, Brian (Marcia) of Washington and Maureen Kent (Dana) of Cheshire. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church or Regional Hospice of Danbury CT in lieu of flowers.
