It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harold Meyer Jr. of Washington, Connecticut, who passed away on November 8, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Harold Meyer Jr. to show support.

He is survived by: his wife Louise B. Meyer; his children, Harold A. Meyer, III and Jennifer L. Patterson (Donald L. Patterson, Jr.); and his great grandchild Labrador Retriever. He is also survived by five grandchildren.

“In loving memory of Harold Meyer Jr., Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. I first met Harold when my wife, son and I moved back home after my work in the Peace. Corps in Panama. It was a very challenging time for me personally, professionally and emotionally. Harold generously offered his support, friendship and encouragement through a very difficult stage in my life, for which I will always be grateful. He lives in my memory as a wonderful, kind and thoughtful man.”

He was inevitably insightful, knowledgeable on just about everything, occasionally challenging and always kind. To see Harold and Louise together was to see that depth of love that grows only with many years together. My deepest condolences to Louise and the family.”
