She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Howard and Blanche Howard (Akers); and her husband Gerald F. Cheney Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Gerald Cheney Jr. (Mouy), Josiah Cheney (Cindy), Patricia Dwy (Donald) and Caroline Ramsay (Jeff); her siblings, Alton Howard and Betty Pike; and her granddaughters, Heather Green (Richard), Katie Schroeder (Aaron) and Sarah Cheney.
