He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Hillis and Marie Hillis (Weimar); and his daughter Vikki Hillis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hillis (Flynt); and his daughters, Wendy Cutrufello (Ben) of West Haven, Lisa Martin of Oneonta, AL, Zandy Starr (Rick) of New Castle, DE, Jeri Hillis of Hot Springs, AR and Jennifer Alvarez of Philadelphia, PA.. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dr. Hillis' name can be made to the Masonicare Charity Foundation of Connecticut, or the Cheshire Lutheran Church, Cheshire, CT.
