He was predeceased by: his parents, Maud O'Connor and John O'Connor. He is survived by: his wife Maris Fiondella O'Connor; his children, Cathal O'Connor (Suzanne), Emer O'Connor-Keller (Michael), Donal O'Connor (Erin) and Cormac O'Connor (Jennifer); and his siblings, Rory O'Connor and Anne McCashin. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
