He is survived by: his wife Gail Schaeffer (Batdorf); his children, Kim Worrall of Wallingford, Kristen Hohmann (Edmund) and Robert Schaeffer Jr. of Dublin, CA; his sister-in-law Kay Schaeffer; his grandchildren, Paul Worral (Allison Chiodo), Michael Schaeffer of Madeline Schaeffer, E. J, Emma Hohmann and Keira Hohmann; and his niece Jennifer Schaeffer.
