With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marion Dorothy Smith of Wallingford, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Marion Dorothy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Marion Dorothy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Marion Dorothy leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Duncan Bell Smith and Marion Cassella; and her siblings, Duncan and Phyllis. She is survived by: her children, Marion Notaro, Gina Baraquin, Stephen Baraquin, Sr. (September) and William "Bill" Heaney; and her friend June Gibson.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the North Haven Congregational Church (28 Church St, North Haven, CT 06473).
