With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Jones of Wallingford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Maria departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Maria. Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Jones; her son James L. Jones; and her brothers, Lawrence, Salvatore and Ralph.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nicolina Jones Burwell of Alabama and Sara Hunt of Waterbury; and her brother Anthony Pagliaro. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren.
