He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Kopakow and Veronica Kopakow (Racic). He is survived by: his wife Grace Kopakow (Barillaro); his children, Marcy Rose and Christopher Kopakow (Lisa); his grandchildren, Harlee Guggisberg and Parker Therrien; and his great grandchildren, Linnea and Austin Guggisberg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ct State Veterans Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
