He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Callaghan and Brigid Callaghan (Moore); and his brothers, Dermot Callaghan of Ireland and Michael Callaghan of Australia. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Callaghan (Cantwell); his children, John Callaghan (Amy) and Karen Robison (James); his daughter-in-law Meredith Callaghan; his siblings, Joan Callaghan and Robert Callaghan; and his grandchildren, Graham Callaghan (Linh Do), Connor, Katie Robison and Emer Callaghan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
