João Ribas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of João Ribas of Wallingford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2025 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, João Ribas and Rosa Ribas; and his sisters, Ana of Fatima Ribas and Maria Augusta Alves. He is survived by: his wife Maria E. Ribas (Barros); his children, Domingos Ribas (Rhiannon Ford) and Ana Isabel Salvador (Peter); his grandchildren, Liliana, Jaxson, Charlotte Ribas, Shaine and Austin Salvador; and his sisters, Dores Ribas, Albertina Seara and Ilda Lavaredas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wallingford Funeral Home (809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (382 Hope Hill Rd, Wallingford, CT 06492).
