James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Crowe Lawlor; his parents, Walter Lawlor and Hildavie Carlson Lawlor; his daughters, Diane Heinrich (Scott) and Suzanne Akoury (Gregg); and his grandchildren, Kailee, Jamie, Scotty Heinrich, Aiden and Cullen Akoury. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wallingford Funeral Home (809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Church (84 N Colony St, Wallingford, CT 06492).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital http://www.stjude.org.
