He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. Walters Sr. and Virgie H. Sumner Walters; and his siblings, Glen Walters, Dale Walters, Barbara Ann Walters and Judith DeScheen.
He is survived by: his spouse Montrell Ward; and his sisters, Helen Mitchell of Georgia and June Walters of Georgia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
