Though Gregory may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Avery and Evelyn Dunn Lucas; his brother Rodney Lucas (Marion) of West Haven; and his nephew Jeffrey J. Lucas Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Willene Derisi (late Joseph Derisi) of Hamden, Jeffrey Lucas (Patricia) of Wallingford, Rosalee Vanmarter (Robert) of Wallingford and Sondra Veerman (late Gary Veerman) of Succasunna, NJ.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many great friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the B. C. Bailey Funeral Home (273 S Elm St, Wallingford, CT 06492). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Center Street Cemetery (1 Center St, Wallingford, CT 06492).
