Gail P. Schaeffer Obituary
In loving memory of Gail P. Schaeffer of Wallingford, Connecticut, who departed this world on December 13, 2024 at the age of 86. Gail leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert H. Schaeffer Sr.; her parents, Merritt Batdorf and Mabel Batdorf (Strauch); and her siblings, Merritt Batdorf Jr., Elaine Mengel, Ida Mae Bugajinsky, Paul Batdorf and Jo Ann Kolbe.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Worrall of Wallingford, Kristen Hohmann (Edmund Sr.) of Wallingford and Robert Schaeffer Jr. of Dublin, CA; her grandchildren, Paul Worrall (Allison Chiodo), Michael, E. J., Emma and Keira Hohmann; and her sister Beth Batdorf. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wallingford Funeral Home (809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Memoriam Cemetery (18 Maplewood Ave, Wallingford, CT 06492).
