We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Frederick S. Pettit of Wallingford, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Pettit and Edith Pettit (Barnecut); his son Charles; and his sisters, Shirley (Jones) and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Lou-Jean (Corso); his sons, Nicholas, Theodore (Carrie) and John (Kathy); his grandchildren, Shenandoah Avalos (Alex), Savannah, Nathaniel, Charles, Matthew, Grace, Daniel and Zachary; his great grandchild Lyra Avalos; and his sister-in-law Adele Corso.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Barnabas Church (44 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A burial will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (700 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charles Andrew Pettit Scholarship.
