Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Eugene leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nettie McLean (Rivera); his father Percy A. McLean; his daughter Jane E. McLean; and his brother Clyde McLean. He is survived by: his sons, Gene McLean (Cheryl) of Kannapolis, NC and John McLean (Karen) of Wallingford; his grandchildren, Cory Santagata (Marc), Karley Palmer (A. J.), Kyle and Nash McLean; and his great grandchildren, Joey and Gianna Santagata. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. John Cemetery (400 Christian St, Wallingford, CT 06492).
