He was predeceased by: his spouse Philomene A. Krol (Thisdale); his parents, Walter Krol and Josephine Krol (Zielinski); his grandson Joe Clack; and his siblings, Ted Krol, Walter Krol, John Krol and Janet Bastura.
He is survived by: his children, David Krol (Suzanne) of Wallingford, Robert J. Krol of Farmington, Richard Krol (Nancy) of Durham, Tammy Krol of Wallingford and Kathleen Coughlin (James) of Durham; his grandchildren, Kathryn Marie Krol, Ryan Krol, Melanie Krol, James Clack, Michael Blodgett Jr., Sarah Blodgett, Jessica Coughlin and Lauren Coughlin; his sister Helen Tremaglio; and his sisters-in-law, Julieann Krol and Phyllis Krol. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
