He is survived by: his children, Judith A. Eybel-Cook, Edward R. Eybel Jr. of East Haven and James E. Eybel of East Haven; his grandchildren, Erika M. Cook, Amanda M. Cook and William D. Cook; and his great grandchildren, Derek Shue and Demi Shue.
