She was predeceased by: her husband Albert J. Simler Jr.; her parents, John Barrett and Marie Barrett; her children, Brian Simler and Jennifer Wellman; her children-in-law, Dr. Peggie Salsbury-Simler and Vincent D'Agostino; and her grandson Leon Girouard, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Hayes (James) of East Haddam, David Simler (Linda Masci) of Branford, Karen Simler D'Agostino of Wallingford and Carol Simler (Lawrence "Love" Marchitto) of West Haven; her son-in-law F. Alexander Wellman of Amherst, MA; and her grandchildren, Lori Girouard-Thompson, Michelle Wellman and Victor Wellman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wallingford Funeral Home (809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location.
