He was predeceased by: his wife MaryEllen Doolittle (O'Connor); his parents, Russell and Mary K. Doolittle (Bohan); and his brother Russell Doolittle. He is survived by: his sons, David Doolittle (Rose) of Middletown and Dennis Doolittle (Sue) of Griswold; his grandchildren, Emily Crespo (Bill), Cassidy Doolittle (Logan), Alison Doolittle (Jordan), Rider Doolittle (Liz) and Adam Doolittle (Abby); his great grandchild Robert Crespo; and his sister Catherine Gunther (Kevin).
