We bid farewell to David M. Schoen of Wallingford, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 6, 2025 at the age of 71. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Melinda Joy Schoen of Wallingford; and his parents, Leonard Schoen and Maureen Joos. He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Schoen (Lewis Dickerson) and Maureen; his son-in-law Joel Krajeski; his son Victor; his daughter-in-law Claudia Sperrazza; his daughter Stephanie; his son-in-law Ryan Gawel; his grandchildren, Griffon Krajeski, Sydney Dickerson, Natalie Dickerson, Paul Sperrazza, Bella Sperrazza, Joseph Sperrazza, Lee Gawel, Emily Gawel, Ryan Gawel and Cait Gawel; and his siblings, Kathy McGlinchey (Ronald), Pamela Parker, Patricia Wotton (Kenneth), Kevin Schoen (Cheryl) and Tracy Wilbur (Derek). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and beloved friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wallingford Funeral Home (809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
