He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William "Billy" Buono, Sr. and Virginia "Cookie" Nicolella Buono; his brothers, John Buono (Heather) and William Buono, Jr.; his nieces and nephews, Kaci, Sophia and William Buono III; his aunt Susan Carrano; and his uncle Robert Nicolella (Patricia).

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
