He is survived by: his children, Edward Mitchell (Lisa Govan) of Cincinnati, Sam Mitchell (Suzanne) of Hamden, Conn., Chris Mitchell (Ann McGuire) and Elizabeth Mitchell (Biz) of Brooklyn, N. Y.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
