With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Aline Leone Dovell of Wallingford, Connecticut, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on March 19, 2024 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Aline Leone Dovell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Scott Dovell of Scott's Army; her siblings, Donald and Jeannine Harvey; and her son-in-law Tom Doran. She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanine Dovell (Mark Sullivan) of Indian Trail, NC and Denise Doran of Naugatuck, CT; her grandchildren, Michael Doran (Sara) of Cheshire, CT, Emily Jahn (Martin) of South Grafton, MA and Stephen Dovell-Sullivan of Matthews, NC; and her great grandchildren, Madilyn, Shea, Mabel Doran, Elias and Lucy Jahn.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The Connecticut Humane Society in honor of Aline's memory.
