It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ramon A. Gardella of Voluntown, Connecticut, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Gardella and Ernestina Gardella (Scagliotti); his former wife Ann Gardella (Metcalfe); his siblings-in-law, Patricia Gardella (Tenczar), Sheila Schulze (Metcalfe), Paul Metcalfe and Joseph Magario; and his stepson Mark Jaskiewicz.
He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Savitsky Gardella (Dolly); his daughters, Teresa Materas (John), Angela Gardella (James Coutu) and Patricia Blake (Jefferey); his grandchildren, Brooke Cropley (Mark), Ryan Wagner (Jessica), Jared Materas (Casey) and Evan Materas (Amber); his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Jack Wagner, Jace, Miles Materas, Easton, Collins and Lainey Materas; his nephew Kevin Schulze (Danielle); his siblings, Louis Gardella (Jerry Roberts) and Lorraine Magario; his sister-in-law Judi Gorman (Dave); his stepchildren, Heidi Jaskiewicz, Jonathan Jaskiewicz (Brandon Mugerian) and Jami Pociask (Barry); and his stepgrandchildren, Athena Jaskiewicz, Theodore Kapinos, Zachary, Gregory and Mary Pociask. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends.
