He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wellen and Thomasina Wellen (Morris). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth A. Wellen (Charland) of Voluntown, CT; his children, Jeffrey Wellen Jr. (Christina) of Smithfield, RI and Julie Goggin (Sean) of Charlestown, RI; his stepdaughter Kimberly Harpin of North Kingstown, RI; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Hannah, Liam, Devin and Harleigh; and his siblings, Dana Wellen of Coventry, RI, Pamela Lusby of Liberty, NC and Kimberly Wylie of North Kingstown, RI..
