He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Burkart and Helen Burkart; and his mother-in-law Grace Latham. He is survived by: his children, Joshua and Sarah Burkart; his wife Lorna Latham Burkart; and his siblings, James (Kathy Burkart), Sandra (Bruce Shewbrooks), Sharon (Robert Lenkiewicz), Sherri Burkart, Suzanne DePietro and Stephanie (Steve Cahoon). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and very close friends.
