He is survived by: his parents, John Nelkin and Deborah Nelkin of Voluntown; his daughter Kate Nelkin of West Greenwich, RI; his sister Leah Allen of North Stonington; his brother-in-law Bruce Allen; his grandmother Audrey Grenier of Voluntown; and also, William and Sam Allen.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home (490 Voluntown Rd, Griswold, CT 06351). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Church (61 Preston City Rd, Voluntown, CT 06384). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the St Thomas Cemetery (153 Sheldon Rd, Griswold, CT 06351).
