It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony John Nigro Jr. of Voluntown, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Anthony Nigro; his stepfather Raymond Archambault (Archie); his uncle Manuel Figueroa, Jr.; and his grandfather Manuel Figueroa. He is survived by: his wife Diana Nigro of Voluntown; his daughter Natalie Nigro of Voluntown; his mother Maria Archambault-LaMay (John LaMay) of Pawcatuck; his siblings, Shaun Nigro of Enfield and Angela Nigro of Portland; his grandmother Maria Figueroa of Voluntown; his mother-in-law Geraldine Carter of Jewett City; his sister-in-law Recina Robert (Joseph Robert) of Occum; his aunt Camelia Conner of Willimantic; and his nephew Baine Sevigney of Norwich. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, as well as many extended family and friends.
