We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2023, at the age of 63, John W. Thompson (Vernon Rockville, Connecticut), born in Hartford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Thompson and Maurice Thompson (Moe); and his siblings, Mark and Anne. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Benjamin, Adam Thompson and Amelia; his son-in-law John Harrison; his grandchildren, Alexis, Connor, Jack and Brooks; and his siblings, Mary Kate Waltenius, Peter (Debi) and Michael (Jackie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Cornerstone Foundation in Rockville CT.
