Jeffrey Pedemonti Obituary
Jeffrey Andrew Pedemonti, age 37, passed away unexpectedly in Tolland on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. He leaves behind his wife, Alicia (MacLean) Pedemonti, of Hopkinton, NH and his beautiful six-year-old daughter, Olivia, who he loved and cherished dearly. Jeffrey was the son of Morris and Cheryl (Mattesen) Pedemonti of Tolland CT and leaves behind two brothers, David Pedemonti and his wife Julie of Coventry, CT, and Benjamin Pedemonti of Tolland, CT. He also had a niece, Shelby and nephew, Charles of Coventry. The Mattesen Family and the Pedemonti Familia was a large group and he leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his grandmother, Leone Mattesen, of Northport, FL. Jeff’s best friend was Joshua Medina, of East Hartford, CT. Jeff was predeceased by his grandparents, Piero and Antoinette Pedemonti, and his grandfather, Louis Andrew Mattesen. He was also predeceased by his aunt, Dorothy Pedemonti, who adored him. Jeff graduated from Tolland High School in 2000. He was a prior member of the CT Army National Guard.
Jeff will be remembered for his lively stories, impersonations, and making everyone laugh. He had a big personality that will leave a void in all of our lives. Jeff was involved with his daughter’s sports, dance, and school activities. As the stay-at-home Dad, his daughter Olivia was his world who he lived and breathed for. Jeff was a Patriot’s fan and was rarely seen without his favorite Patriot’s hat and sweatshirt. He was a true patriot and the NH state motto “Live Free or Die” described Jeff’s way of life. He loved the outdoors, wide open spaces, and his freedom.
A memorial service will be held at Burke Fortin Funeral Home located at 76 Prospect Street in Rockville Vernon, CT on Friday, 12/27/2019. Calling hours are from 4:00-6:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CT Special Olympics in memory of Jeff’s aunt, Dorothy Pedemonti.
