He is survived by: his wife Debra DeMerchant (Bruce); his children, David DeMerchant, Raven DeMerchant of Vernon and Corrinne Sommers; his sisters, Pamela Czerwinski of Ellington and Janice Cullen of Glastonbury; and his grandchildren, Clowie and Weston.
